Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej / Now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to achieve a score of 10 in competing in the Olympics. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci as she was only seven years old. Her first competitive event was the national junior championships where she placed 13th in the year 1969. In 1970, Comaneci won. Her first competition in the international arena was in 1972 a pre-Olympic junior meet for the communist-bloc countries she was awarded three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she was all-around junior champion. She won four gold and one silver medals in her debut competition as a senior, held in 1975. This was the first time she competed as an adult. In 1976 she became the world's first woman to utilize a reversed double salto for a dismount off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment during her teenage years in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol started her professional career as an entertainer when she was in her teenage years. Early on Carol was an ice figure skater for traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. They featured ice skating shows which included stage performances.
